Two times James Beard award winner, Alon Shaya’s cuisine speaks straight to the heart of his Israeli-American heritage. My illustrations unwrap a discovery and reflection form his odyssey, and it was a delightful adventure to bring these visuals to life. In addition to the cookbook, I’ve had the pleasure of creating custom pieces for his restaurants Saba (New Orleans) and Santa (Denver).
